The chain of solidarity flies at BGY Airport Granfondo
For the whole month of December it will be possible to gift a registration to Spazio Autismo Bergamo, an important project for young people with autism spectrum disorder and a reference point for their families.
This beautiful initiative is promoted by BGY Airport Granfondo, very sensitive to social issues of the territory since 1999.
You can help us making charity and at the same time you can race starting from the first grid. You just have to gift one of the 20 Charity registrations available at the increased price of 250,00 euros.
The proceeds (excluding the registration fee) will be given to charity to “SpazioAutismoBergamo” (www.spazioautismobergamo.com).
By purchasing a Charity registration you have the right to start from Vip grid (2/600) and to have the 2024 Official Jersey made by Santini Cycling.
BGY Airport Granfondo is a fantastic experience, even more satisfying for who wants to partecipate making good to people in need.
About the race. Sunday 5th May 2024 there will be three historical routes that get across the heart and the province of Bergamo.They all start from the Gewiss Stadium and you can choose which one you prefer to do:
the Short is 89,4 km (1.400 m positive altitude gain),
the Medium is 128,8 km (2.100 m positive altitude gain)
the Long is 162,1 km (3.050 m positive altitude gain).
SPAZIOAUTISMOBERGAMO – Spazio Autismo Onlus was born in 2000 and was created by the commitment of a group of parents, teachers, educators and citizens sensitive to problems related to children and young people with autism spectrum disorder’s issues. The association becomes ONLUS in 2003.
The Statute of the Association defines the purposes: to raise public awareness about the problem of the autism spectrum disorder; to support the activities of the Association; continuous training of operators, parents, teachers and volunteers.
Moreover the Association realizes collaborations and meetings with urban realities like groups, oratories, schools, committees, associations.
