Where to eat

Where can people visiting Bergamo eat during the International Granfondo? What are the typical dishes and above all, where are the restaurants in Bergamo?
Typical dishes, from the renowned “casonsei”, to Taragna polenta or polenta with cheese, can be found in any trattoria or local restaurant. Characteristic restaurants can be found in Città Alta, offering a marvellous view of the lowlands.
In Città Bassa instead, there are many country-style trattorias offering authentic traditional menus.
And for an energy boost? Try a typical dessert: “polenta e osei”.
