BGY Airport Granfondo celebrates Bergamo through a limited edition jersey

The Italian Granfondo, to be held on May 14th, released its official jersey, a limited edition heirloom for cycling enthusiasts. Dedicated to Bergamo, named 2023 Italian Capital of Culture, it can be purchased on the official website

The brand-new BGY Airport Granfondo could not be missing among those celebrating Bergamo being named 2023 Italian Capital of Culture together with Brescia. The 4fun international cycling, scheduled for Sunday, May 14th in Bergamo, dedicated nothing less than this edition’s official jersey to its hosting city. Designed and produced by Santini Cycling Wear, it represents a stylish and precious souvenir for all cycling fans.

The links between Bergamo and cycling have deep roots, as an evergreen land of champions and a fertile soil for companies related to two-wheels, first and foremost Santini Cycling Wear, a Bergamo-based excellence of the Made in Italy, whose name is well-known worldwide.

The 2023 official jersey, SANTINI Virtus, has been designed following the SMART guidelines and features a white background with horizontal stripes of four different colours: blue and light-blue representing Brescia, yellow and red symbolizing Bergamo. The uniform boasts a front side in lightweight fabric, back and collar in super-breathable fabric with sweat-release depressions, sides and sleeves in smooth and adhering microfibre fabric, raw cut sleeves, long fully-covered zip, inner elastic in the bottom part, reflective details and triple back pocket. The Capital of Culture’s logo is clearly visible on the back pocket itself and on the chest, together with the one of Milan Bergamo Airport, managed by SACBO, partner of the Granfondo.

The jersey is available in limited edition and can be purchased together with the race number for the Granfondo (total amount of €90,00) or aside (€45,00).
