The <strong>BGY Airport Granfondo<\/strong> unveils its new creative concept for the 2027 edition, scheduled for <strong>Sunday, 9 May 2027<\/strong>, presenting the event from a fresh, modern and international perspective: a <strong>bird\u2019s-eye view<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The claim <strong>\u201cREADY FOR TAKE-OFF\u201d<\/strong> introduces a new visual identity inspired by an aerial perspective, as if the race and the iconic valleys of the Bergamo region were being viewed through the window of an aircraft in flight. Futuristic details inspired by onboard navigation systems give the event a contemporary feel, bringing sport and technology together.<\/p>\n<p>From this distinctive viewpoint through the aircraft window, a story unfolds that brings together <strong>air travel and the journey on two wheels<\/strong>. The BGY Airport Granfondo routes cross numerous towns, valleys and historic villages, taking in some of the best-known climbs in the Bergamo province and showcasing the beauty of the surrounding landscape, pedal stroke after pedal stroke.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe wanted an image that tells the story not just of a cycling race, but of a genuine travel experience. The airport and the bicycle share the same goal: to move people, overcome boundaries and connect territories. This new creative concept represents our own \u2018take-off\u2019 towards an increasingly futuristic, connected and global edition,\u201d<\/em> explained <strong>Giuseppe Manenti<\/strong>, event organiser.<\/p>\n<p>The new visual identity highlights the three established routes of <strong>91, 130 and 148 kilometres<\/strong>, which cross a landscape of mountains, valleys and iconic climbs in Bergamo cycling, from Colle dei Pasta to Colle Gallo and Selvino, and on to Val Taleggio. The longest route also includes Berbenno and Bedulita.<\/p>\n<p>The renewed concept reflects the organisers\u2019 commitment to continuously improving the event\u2019s organisational standards, with <strong>participant safety<\/strong> at the centre of its ongoing development. This is a tangible step forward, with innovation and care for every rider moving in the same direction.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>REGISTRATIONS OPEN ON 26 OCTOBER<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Registration for the <strong>BGY Airport Granfondo 2027<\/strong> opens on Monday, <strong>26 October 2026<\/strong>.
